Sustainable access to clean water and improved sanitation is foundational to community development. EM Associates Limited provides end-to-end research and monitoring solutions for WASH projects, from feasibility studies and baseline assessments to real-time performance monitoring and endline impact evaluations.
We work with water utilities, international donors, and rural development agencies to assess the functionality, sustainability, and equity of water supply systems, boreholes, and sanitation infrastructure.
Our research teams employ a blend of technical water quality testing, infrastructure audits, and behavioural surveys to understand not only if facilities are present, but why they are used or not. We evaluate hygiene promotion campaigns, open defecation-free (ODF) certification processes, and the effectiveness of school-based WASH programs.
